Positions are recruited centrally for ease of application for candidates, but allocations are done on a competitive basis and are not based on a trainee's outstanding training requirements.
If seeking 2 x 6 month positions, these may be offered in either order for all metro and outer-metro positions - even if you have preferenced for 1st half or 2nd half. This is to maximise our ability to allocate you to rotations that you want. You must contact us via email if there is a reason you could only accept the roles in a particular order. Rural positions will be offered in the half of the year they have been preferenced - unless you have contacted us to say you do are happy to accept in either order.
